  8. I’ve loved this word for a long time, Heena, ever since i studied Evolution as part of my Geology degree. Your example of the kiwi’s vestigial wings reminded me of the vestigial dewclaws on dogs.
    I’ve had no Internet connection all this week, so my ‘V’ post will be very late. I’ll catch up on the missed week at some stage.
